Title
Farsangi mámor (postcard)
Description
Contemporary postcard used to advertise the film in its native country, here showing the leading actress, Ica von Lenkeffy.

Ica von Lenkeffy (1896-1955) was one of the first and most popular Hungarian female film stars. She began her career in 1912, going on to act in 25 Hungarian films. In the 1920s she worked in Vienna, Berlin and Paris. In 1922 she starred opposite Emil Jannings in Russian director Dimitri Buchowetzki's film adaptation of Othello by William Shakespeare. Unfortunately her career ended with the introduction of sound in cinema because her voice wasn't apt for talking pictures.
