Commentary
Maybe they were referring to the English language version of this film, because they hold even 2 different copies of it.
Gosfilmofond has a copy of the version for the French market, which is mainly based on the German language verison, but contains as well material from the English language version. The French version was compiled by Germaine Dulac by dubbing, intertitling, and - in one case - reshooting the source material.
Christoph Wahl, 18.01.2009
Confusingly, although the Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv listed this film as lost on their website in 2007, elsewhere on their website they note that they had themselves restored the film that same year.
