Although Malthête declared this film as lost in his 2002 publication on Méliès, a print was acquired by Lobster Films, Paris, from a group of private collectors and preserved by the Haghefilm Conservation Centre in Amsterdam in 1999. The preserved print was screened as part of the 'Un trésor dans une armoire' programme during the 18th Pordenone Silent Film Festival in Sacile, Italy, in October 1999. It is also included in the American DVD collection 'G. Méliès: First Wizard of Cinema' released by Flicker Alley in March 2008.
