A 35mm, black and white nitrate positive print of this early Lotte Reiniger fairytale film survives in the collection of the Danish Film Institute in Copenhagen. The print corresponds to a Danish release version and, as such, features Danish inter-titles throughout. A digital transfer of this print is included on the 4th Lotte Reiniger DVD, 'Doktor Dolittle & Archivschätze', released in Germany by Absolut Medien in December 2008. The DVD edition includes optional German subtitles, produced by translating the text of the Danish inter-titles into German as the original German censorship cards, listing the text of the original German language inter-titles, unfortunately no longer exists.
