Like many films of this period, this film was originally produced in separate French and German language versions. Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv listed the film as lost in 2007 but did not specify which version they believe to be lost (both had the same title). Gian Luca Farinelli and Vittorio Martinelli identified a complete print of the French version in good condition in the collection of the Filmoteca Española in Madrid, Spain, during their Lumière Project-sponsored Search for Lost Films in the 1990s. Presumably, therefore, the German version must still be considered lost. Oliver Hanley, Deutsche Kinemathek A print at the Det Danske Filminstitut should be available.
