This film has been identified thanks to contributions from members of the Lost FIlms community.
This film features a woman sitting on train holding on to her dog when she gets annoyed by the man sitting across from her because of his pipe smoke. She throws the pipe out the open window, but her dog jumps out after it. The train stops and both people are happy to see the unharmed dog has fetched the smoking pipe. Going by Harold Brown's book this is a Pathe early 1906 edgecode.
