Many people [frame scan 1]. / The condemned on a horse-drawn cart, mid-shot [frame scan 2]. / Despite the presence of soldiers with shiny, drawn swords, the people free the condemned ones. / Scene at the grounds of a palace [frame scan 3]. / Arrests in a dark alley [frame scan 4]. / A coppice. Poster: "Fête de la déesse raison" [frame scan 5]. A man with a black hat and black cape tears the poster down and hangs up a new one, the content of which is not distinguishable. / Jubilant people in the streets, armed with clubs and scythes. A drummer. An arrested nobleman, close-up [frame scan 6]. / The Cavalry shoots into the crowd. / People in uproar, a man carrying a sign: "Nous voulons du Pain", "Pain Pain". Print without main title and inter-titles. Probably early 20's. No indication of the film at first glance in the "Filmographie mondiale de la Révolution francaise" (1989).
