Ces tableaux qui nous font entrevoir, dévoilé par une sor cière, l’avenir du joueur, de l’alcoolique, du financier, de la demi-mondaine, de l’ouvrière, des nouveaux mariés, sont bien l’image de la vie bizarre, changeante, imprévue, dont on ne peut arrêter ni changer le train brutal et fatal. Les uns sourient à des perspectives heureuses, les autres repoussent avec un rire contraint des visions stupéfiantes, tandis que la petite vieille se sauve avec un rire fan tastique en sautillant comme une sorcière de Goya.
