Commentary
Our contributer, Jeanpaul Goergen, recently identified this as an excerpt from the film, Wege zu Kraft und Schönheit. In the surviving English distribution version, a 16mm print of which is available to rent from the Deutsche Kinemathek, the shot appears after the intertitle, "To swiftly react....". More information and documents concerning the film can be found online at filmportal.de and the website on film censorship in Germany between 1920 and 1938, put together by the Deutsches Filminstitut-DIF.
