Maintitle (not original): Der betrogene Ehemann (The Cuckold). - A wife bids farewell to her husband. No sooner is he gone than she beckons her lover into the house. They ensconse and he puts on a dressing gown [frame scan 1]. The cornigerous husband returns, however, and grabs for his gun [frame scan 2]. The pair flee out the window and a wild chase ensues, which includes a collision with a streetcar [frame scan 3]. The chase continues in the sewer [frame scans 4 & 5] and passes through the set of a bizarre film shoot (actor with a pig's head) [frame scan 6]. Inside a house, the cornigerous husband is crushed by an elevator to half his original size [frame scan 7]. Two policemen straighten him back out. With a "magical bound", the wife and her lover retreat home; the poor husband once again comes to blows in a scene with an elevator and, in the end, is hauled away by construction workers [frame scan 8. This last scene could, however, come from another film?]
