Lehmann ist ein schlechter Kutscher (Lehmann is a Bad Driver). Lehmann as a coach driver. The driverless coach speeds through the streets, leading to a multitude of hilarious crashes. The injured parties chase after the coach. The coach travels along an underpass covered with scaffolding [frame scan 1] and tears through a market stall [frame scan 2]. Having arrived at the local stable, a man disperses the pursuers with the aid of a hose [frame scan 3].

Commentary
Alexander Thelen is absolutely correct, although the film was released in January 1908. A description (in French) and review of the film (in English) can be found on the Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé website.

The Deutsche Kinemathek; Berlin, holds also a well preserved nitrate print (126 m) in b/w with German titles in red.

This is definately "Le cheval emballé" from 1907, made by Pathé Freres. There's quite a lot of texts and other information on the internet.
