Second Australian feature adaption of the stage melodrama "The Bells". Remake of the 1911 silent film "The Bells", directed by W. J. Lincoln.
Only one short sequence of the film is known to exist (held by the National Film & Sound Archive of Australia).

"Possibly never screened commercially in Australia, though it is suggested that the film was given a limited release under the new name "Hypnotised" in rural areas of New South Wales."

"Availability: Not known outside the archive, and even within the archive, only in partial fragments. It is considered a substantially lost film."
