Oliver Hanley, Deutsche Kinemathek, 03.09.2010 Could be the Pathé production 'Alexandrien' that was approved by the censor 'Hamburger Lehrerzensur' (No. 3778) on 13. Sept 1913. Jeanpaul Goergen, Deutsche Kinemathek, 22.10.2008 Another suggestion might be an earlier film, Oldtidens Ægypten (1909) made by Ludwig Lippert for Nordisk. German title of that, however, was Das Ägypten der Vorzeit. Lippert made several films in Egypt between 1907-10.
