Short synopsis: In a municipal park, a nursemaid hands over her baby to a 'Landjäger' (?) (gendarme) [frame scan 2]. The nursemaid leaves the scene, followed shortly by the gendarme. The 'Stadtsoldat' (?) (city soldier) enters the scene and is welcomed happily by the nursemaid [frame scan 3].
Actors according to the intertitles: "Fräulein Mariette Lelierres vom Nouveautés-Theater, Herr Frère vom Odéon-Theater" [frame scan 1].
