Short synopsis: Fragment of an Italian drama set in Arabic ambience (about 1914/20).
Arabic setting. A European sits at a small table and studies a map. An Arabic girl brings tea. She asks about his arm injury. They say goodbye amorously. - An Arab appears from behind a carpet curtain and scrambles at the documents on the table [frame scan 1]. - He confronts his daughter. - He calls his armed bodyguard (also an Arab) and gives orders [frame scan 2]. His daughter (close up) who is hidden behind a curtain [frame scan 3] overhears the scene. The daughter in the garden. The police (with helmets and pistols) arrest the Arab. The girl and the European man caress each other.
