Only the first frame - as the commentary of Mark Fuller says - with the colored metal rods are from the 1905 Pathé frères LA METALLURGIE, the following images come from a scène dramatique.
Are there any indications about it being a Théophile Pathé ? - this production started only in 1907.

I believe this film is La Metallurgie Au Creusot, from 1905; a print of the film discovered in the Corrick Collection, in Australia, was shown at Pordenone in 2009.
