The original title is "Jack Frost", produced by Ub Iwerks' Celebrity Productions and released to American cinemas in December 1934.

Identified as "Des Winters Herold" (in strange speech), which was submitted by Rota-Film AG to the German censor on 17th April 1935: Identification Number 39101, 1 act, 235m, "jugendfrei" (G-rated) (from the permit card in the Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv).
The original American title and year of production have yet to be found out.
